We are building a Salesforce capability for clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK, and we are looking for developers who know their way around a Salesforce org. The work ranges from day-to-day administration: users, profiles and permission sets, objects, flows, reports, and on to building on the platform with Apex and Lightning Web Components. Which side you lean towards is something we match to your strengths.
This is an open position rather than a single project: we staff Salesforce work across several client engagements, so tell us what you have done and we will place you where it fits. You work in a distributed team with senior mentors and short paths to the people who decide. German-level engineering standards on ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified processes, without the bureaucracy. Employment (CIM) or B2B, from Cluj-Napoca or fully remote, whichever fits you best.
What you will do
- Administer Salesforce orgs: users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules and data quality.
- Build and maintain declarative automation with Flow, validation rules and approval processes.
- Configure standard and custom objects, page layouts, Lightning App Builder pages and record types.
- Extend the platform where configuration ends: Apex classes and triggers, SOQL, Lightning Web Components.
- Build reports and dashboards, and help the business ask better questions of its data.
- Manage releases across sandboxes and production, with change sets or a Git-based deployment pipeline.
- Integrate Salesforce with surrounding systems through REST APIs and middleware.
- Work directly with client stakeholders: gather requirements, propose a solution, document what you built.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience administering Salesforce in a productive org, not only in a trailhead playground.
- Confident with the declarative toolset: objects, fields, flows, validation rules, permission sets, reports.
- Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL and at least the basics of Lightning Web Components.
- An understanding of the Salesforce release and sandbox model.
- English at professional working level. Client communication runs in English or German.
- A structured way of working and the habit of documenting what you change.
Nice to have
- Salesforce certifications, for example Administrator, Platform App Builder or Platform Developer I.
- German language skills. They open the DACH projects and we pay for the training if you want to get there.
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud or Marketing Cloud in depth.
- Integration work with REST APIs, middleware or ETL tooling.
- CI/CD for Salesforce with SFDX, Git and automated deployments.
- Data migration with Data Loader or comparable tools.
